  1. Allow the end user to change the type of an account.

    If the account hasn't billed since 2010, I don't really want to classify the account as a billing account. Rather it needs to be worked as a prospect.
    This will allow the managers to get an accurate count of billing accounts vs. claimed accounts on the AE's account list.

  2. Reassign and Merge on the same page

    It would be very efficient if filtering, account reassignment and merging could be done on the same page. Currently we need to filter the account list by an AE, and see if there are any dups. If there some, need to download this list to Excel, print it, and then go to a different page in order to merge....what a waste of time!

    Hope this makes sense, and I am sure other customers would love have this functionality as well. Please contact me if you want to discuss this further as the able is a weekly task I do not…

  3. Folders inside account lockers

    Hello Matrix Team,
    I am suggesting two things:
    1. To be able to copy a whole folder from our computers into Matrix. For example, I have a folder in my laptop documents for Blue Cross Blue Shield 1st quarter. All the avail requests, submissions, copies of orders, makegoods etc go into this folder. Rather than have to copy this 20-30 documents per quarter one by one into Matrix it would be nice to just be able to put the entire folder into matrix.
    Second-we need the capability to organize account documents in the locker into folders, typically with regional accounts,…

  4. Reassign the office on a deal when the account's office is reassigned

    We reassigned many accounts to another office recently. After running the Forecasting report I noticed that it was off. Turned out that the offices on the deals do not update under this workflow. I'd like for the office on any open deals to change to the affiliated account's new office when performing an office reassignment on an account.

  5. Change Last Billed label in Account List

    Change the label on Last Billed to be Last Billed/Created or something. It's confusing to have a last billed date for prospects & leads.

  6. I would like a way to reassign the contacts on an account to another owner

    I accidentally created hundreds of contacts in my name (I am the sales assistant). I meant to give them to the account owners so that they could use them.

    It would be nice if Matrix could allow me to change the contact owner to another user in instances like this. My only option appears to be deleting the existing contact and recreating the contacts with the correct owner set in the dropdown.

    We plan to address issues with how contacts are managed within our newest product, Monarch, in the near future. If done right, it should eliminate the idea of a contact owner and put more focus on the company that the person works for as well as provide more up-to-date / accurrate contact info.

  7. Account Prospects

    It should not be allowed that an AE can add as a prospect an account that is already associated with another AE as a billing account in a market that I can sell.

  9. Display activity notes on account profile better

    it would be really helpful to be able to read all of the activity notes quickly, When calling a client back it takes time to have to open each note separately.

  10. Sales Alerts to compare revenue of this year to last year

    I'd like to see an alert similar to the forecast over budget, but that was based on last years sales. So something I can set for myself that is at 10% over last years sales or something like that.

  14. Add the ability to MERGE duplicate contacts.

    I added a contact that I had added previously -- instead of merely deleting, a better option would be to merge in case information is attached to one and not the other.

  15. Customize what information is required in order to submit a Lead for approval

    We struggled with this on Efficio…we would like to make them include minimally an address and phone# or email and phone# but there is nothing on this account.

  16. Add recurring events in Activities.

    If we do the same activity each day, week or month on the same day and at the same time, we should be able to check a box, calendar or field to make it a recurring activity that appears in our Activity list. Therefore, we wouldn't have to enter the same activity over and over again. This idea is taken from Outlook calendar where you can schedule recurring events.

  18. it would be AMAZING if we could chose our own default date on the estimated closing date in the deal process.

    because we are judged internally by the # of deals we put in each day- not necessarily when they will close- it would be great to be able to set my own default date on estimated close date- to the current date. or have a drop down of options- todays date, 30 days, 60 days...or enter your own

  19. Add a "Difference" column to Churning Report

    I would like to see the difference between what we have pending this year and what we booked last year for our churn accounts. I also want to be able to sort by the "Difference" column to easily find where the biggest losses due to churn are occurring.

  20. Prevent entering Pending back in time

    It would be great if Matrix did not allow me to enter historical Pending. I just entered a bunch of Pending for the previous year, thinking it was for next year because I only changed the Month value and not the year as well.

    As a result, I had to re-enter my pending because I moved the time frame forward.
