Can you let us know what your workflow is? Take updating a deal status for example. What business event(s) happened that made you want to update the status based off of an Activity?

Indidivual markets can lock their budgets today and this will not impact other markets. However, if a corporate manager locks the budgets this will lock for everyone beneath them.

We still plan to enhance the locking feature to be closer to what you are describing, but I wanted to make sure you knew that you can technically lock by market if the manager(s) within that market do the locking. It may still appear as "unlocked" to corporate, but that's because the lock status means all markets that you have access to are locked.

More to come at a future date. Thank you for the feedback!

We’re working on a new feature that will enhance the way “shared accounts” work but one of the end results will allow all salespeople to see this kind of information on accounts like this that they do not own.

Stay tuned. We’re hoping to get this out this year and are currently in the design phase of the feature.

Are salespeople in your market utilizing Activities? We answer your question today about seeing if an account is actively being worked via the Master Account List. The last column lets you know the last time an activity was held and the next time an activity is being planned.

In our newest product, Monarch, we take this a step further and allow you the ability to request ownership of the account if you think it's something that you want to take on with our internal prospecting functionality.

We are curious what you feel a great mobile experience would be like for adding/updating Activities and Contacts.

How might you envision getting a contact that you just met at an event into Matrix via your mobile device? Think outside of the box if you wish! We want to do cool things that our users want to use :)

How would you feel about an export wizard per Account that let's you build up what you care about?

    Revenue
Activities (Last Activity + all upcoming)
    Address
Deals (last deal + all upcoming with relevant info like Outlets, timeframe, and dollars)
    Notes (last 3)
    Contacts (all?)

Exporting the account list so that it can be printed currently exists.

Load up the account list and click on the Export Accounts button in the upper right. It looks like a downward pointing arrow and is right below the My List / Master List controls.

The Deals, Activitiy List, and Account Profiles do not have this functionality yet which I believe is what the original comment is referring to.

I'm not sure that I understand how picking the default Estimated Close Date helps you with being judged on how many deals are created each day?

Are you/managers looking at the estimated close date to help answer a particular question in reporting?

I totally get wanting to pick a default date that suits your way of doing deals so no problem there...just curious how your organization relates the two to make sure we're not missing any other details.

Hope to hear from you soon!

Would you say that this is fair? I'm just trying to get inside your head and understand what your original goal is ;)

I would like to alerted when my clients birthdays are approaching so that I can properly plan something special for them if appropriate.

    Thanks!

Thanks for getting back to me. I'll add this toward future prioritization discussions and see if we can't enhance this functionality for you. This feedback request will be the best place to review updates when/if the request moves through development and emails will automatically be sent to you so stay tuned.

Sounds like a cool idea. Let's see if I'm understanding correctly...

Add in the Contact/Account/Agency contact information (if they are affiliated to the activity that you saved) onto those items you save to your calendar so that when you open the event you can see something like

    Jon Smith
    (555)555-5555
    jsmith@companyxyz.com

    Company XYZ
    (555)555-5554

    Does that make sense?

So a user has shared a report with you and now that user has left the company? You'd like to pass this along to someone else because it's a great report. What to do?!

What if when we deactivated a user, any shared reports that they may have had are made as favorites for anyone that the report was shared to? That would give you and anyone else control of the report to remove it, modify it, or share it out as you see fit. That way you're not dealing with stale reports or can help keep everyone in the loop.

That would achieve your original request because you can only share your favorite reports, and help us out in support and on the back end to keep things clean and flowing!

    What are your thoughts?

Allow me to address this in 2 separate pieces since you wrote your concerns separately.

    1. Copying multiple files sounds like a great enhancement. You don't typically interact with a folder for uploading for any web or client based application, but it's quite common to tackle multiple files at a time either by Shift-Clicking the files or just uploading multiple files separately. Thanks for the feedback on this!

    2. You actually do have a folder structure within Matrix Locker :) Navigate to the Lists menu in the upper navigation bar and then select Matrix Locker. On the left will be all of the folders that you currently have access to (probably empty if you're not aware of this feature). When you want to add a folder select the gear icon to the right of the parent folder that you want to place your folder into and choose "Add a Folder" For example if I wanted to create a top level folder for 2015 documents, i simply hover over "My File" from the Folders selection in the left, click on the gear, select "Add a Folder" and then call it "2015 Customer Documents". The Folders will refresh, and once you expand you'll see the newly created folder. If you need to move a file into that folder, locate the file on the right side "Files" pod, click the gear and choose "Edit Affiliations/Folder" and then update the folder (and anything else that you might want to do".

I'd like to cut your request down to just the upload multiple files request since we have a folder structure so please make sure that I've understood your 2nd question, try it out, and let me know.

    Thanks!

We have a lot of folks voting on this feature (up to 25 now!) so I am counting on some of you to provide feedback on this topic.

I've mocked up a design change to the Activity experience in order to accommodate for recurring activities, and I'd like to know how this feels to you.

Please click the link below in order to see an image of the design and leave a comment on this feedback page with what you feel works, doesn't work, or suggestions for improvement.

Keep it focused on the Date section of the dialog as that is the scope of this project.

Awesome suggestion! I have often thought rich text formatting within our notes in Matrix would be a great enhancement. Just a dumbed down wordpad with some simple formatting tools is all. nothing crazy :)

Thanks so much for your feedback. Don't hesitate to send more in the future!

I was thinking the same actually. Either Account or Agency should be selected in order to save the activity. Like you, I'm not a fan of these orphan activities that barely do the user who put them in any good and only serve to boost numbers on the activity report in order to show that the rep did something. A change like this helps to make activities meaningful interactions that will support everyone from the current owner to future reps who are given the account, and for managers who are checking in on important customers!

While we look into this and potentially prioritize it for the future, I recommend that your reps initiate their activities from either the Contact or Account profile pages. This will automatically fill in the Contact and/or Account for the user.

Then once completing that activity, I highly recommend using the "Save & Add Another" activity button as this will copy over necessary info from the first and make it even faster to add activities...not to mention always keep a next action plan in place!

    Thanks for your feedback!

Pulling this up as a candidate while we discuss new activity enhancements. Right now we’re discussing this as part of an improved Activity List (or equivalent because people hate paging through lists).

Looking forward to experimenting with this one :)

Let me see if I can put this into my own words in order to make sure that I understand your need :)

You would like a way to create a "to do" style task list that everyone would make use of because it is standard/uniform.
These would be applied to new accounts and new orders being negotiated.
This is separate from the Activities that you currently perform.
It sounds like it might be helpful if the user could add things to the task list to account for special one offs

I like this! Please correct me if I've misinterpreted anything.

    Thanks!

I discussed this with the requester and have enough information to understand why this is important now...

    Here's a great example...

    Auto Dealer groups...

    Adam Smith Nissan
    Adam Smith Honda
    Adam Smith Ford
    etc
    etc

Probably some common contacts between those dealers making the buying decisions.

Thank you so much for getting back to me!

Could you provide a real world example of how this applies? I know of a contact at an Agency handling multiple accounts and within Matrix we can handle that scenario, but I'm not familiar with a contact working at multiple account locations.

    Thanks!
