  1. Allow the BEV to change months based on the company's fiscal calendar

    Currently the month changes based on the gregorian calendar, but we are on a broadcast calendar specific to Media General. We would like the month to move forward based on our calendar, not the gregorian.

    the Sales Outlook Pod now remembers the last month selected so you won’t have to worry about bumping it back/forward each time you load the page anymore due to inconsistencies with a gregorian and fiscal calendar.

    Worst case scenario, you move it once a month, but more than likely you’ll be switching between months and quarters on a regular basis.

  2. When viewing a report, have a button to take you back to previous screen.

    There is no other way to go back to previous screen. When I click the "back button" on browser, it takes me back to orginal screen of a report.

    This is completed, however I need to explain a bit…

    Under the current reporting in Matrix Standard, the reporting engine used is unable to perform this request with satisfactory results. While the Excel download option is perfectly capable of handling this (as well as allowing you the option to further modify the report), we understand many users want to just print something.

    However, we changed our reporting engine with Matrix Premium and can print directly from there by creating a print friendly version that strips away everything except for the report that you want to print..

    We are examining our current priorities and are are considering changing the existing reports to use this new engine as well in the future, but I do not have enough concrete information to share with you at this time.

  5. Printing Reports

    If a report (eg. Ranking Report) that is displayed within the Browser covers multiple pages, there needs to be some way to print the entire report. Instead what needs to be done is to print the first page of data, go back into the browser, click to next page of report and then print again. This is overly tedious.

  6. Fix account error when entering an activity

    Since the lastest upgrade, there is an error that pops up when listing an activity. Once you select the contact, it correctly lists the account associated with the contact, however once you click save a pink screen pops up indicating the account cannot be found. I have to clear the account and re-enter the account. Very frustrating.

  7. close annual deals a month at a time as orders are entered

    What if you put a expected close window under each months revenue PJ for any annual deal. That way the pending dollars for the remainder of the year are still active but we can close the current month.

    You now have access to a New Deal Experience! Within this, Matrix will automatically close out individual months for you, OR you can still jump in and handle everything manually on a more proactive level. The choice is yours.

    We’ve made it super easy to handle zeroing out months from the new Recently Imported pod. Just hover over the deal’s remaining pending amount and choose to zero out any months that you wish. If you zero them all out, Matrix will close the deal for you.

  8. Need account list by month LY/TY billing comparison

    It is extremely important to me to be able to see my list by month with year to year comparison billing. I need to know how I compare to last year at a glance without having to go through 6 steps on each account, Please consider this as it is very important. Thanks

    Salespeople now have the ability to view a ranking report. It does have export capabilities to get the report into Excel where you can fully customize the look and feel and then print it.

  9. AE's Share their inbox/views/accounts

    I have two AE's who are on a transactual team. The cover each others accounts and get paid on total billing between the two. Is there anyway they can view each other?

    We have just completed testing this feature and will have it available to you sometime in early Q4 2013 along with some other awesome features that we’re finishing up as we speak

    The process of sharing an account is initiated by a manager who grants access to the AEs who need to see each others information. Once access is granted, everyone sharing the account can see each others information from Contacts to activities to Deals and revenue.

    Please note this is not revenue sharing. Unless broken out in your traffic system, Matrix will continue to report the revenue under the user that comes from traffic. This might change in the future, but for the first phase expect it to work like that.

  10. Option to default # of results per page to 100

    Instead of defaulting 25 results per page, it would be nice to have an option to save your preferred setting.

    While we are not going to look into saving a setting for this, we will raise the default to 100 in the next release. Thank you for your feedback, and I hope you find this extremely useful!

  11. Add an Account Frustrations

    I would prefer choosing the outlets to add an account for instead of removing the outlets that i do not wish to add an account for.

  13. Too many clicks are required to update and/or close a deal

    Once an order has been placed for a Deal in Traffic, then imported into matrix, the system does not list “Potential” Deals that could be “Closed” as “WON”. Instead, the user has to go back to associated deal, click on the deal, click on the “edit” button to open the drop down menu, click the “ Open Won”, then go to the “ status” drop down, click on closed, and then save.

    The previous matrix updated the “deal” or “forecasting numbers “ automatically during an import, and the totals would be zero (if Actual equaled or exceeded Forecast).

    Quick Deals will be available in our next major release due out in a little over a week from now.

    Quick deals allow salespeople to create, edit, and close deals all from the Bird’s Eye View. They are a slimmed down experience that better allows users to get in, get out, and get back to selling and are best suited for avails where the sales cycle is often shortest.

    Managers and salespeople can also get in on the action from the Account List. Keep in mind this does not replace the way of doing deals as you know it today, it only allows you to do them quicker…but quicker will mean much less detail. Always a trade off ;)

    We have finished testing this request. In our next mini release (due out in mid May) Matrix admins will have the ability to set the following amounts of time to allow users to stay logged in…
    30 min (default)
    1 hr
    2 hr
    3 hr
    4 hr

    This is typically a setting that corporate IT will mandate so all locations where Matrix is installed in your organization will follow the same rule. Please petition your corporate IT if you wish to have the setting changed so that your specific IT policies are not violated.

  16. Add option to export master account list with AE as column

    We can currently pull a ranker report that has an option for AE as another row underneath.. This does not allow to sort accounts by AE in Excel without a lot of manual work. I need to be able to see a master list of accounts and current AEs that can be exported and sorted in Excel please.

    We have completed testing this feature and I think you’ll be pleased with the results. The master list can be exported and you’ll know the account name, salesperson, and if it is a prospect or billing account. You can look forward to this feature in the next release.

  17. Allow for negative pending

    Two reasons:
    1. On the print side, the actual billing comes in as "open rate" which is not what they typically plan to get, so the rep would like to add in negative pending to show a "true" forecast number.
    2. At times, there are cancellations or pre-empts, but it hasn't come through traffic yet. So that the rep can show an accurate forecast, they would have to enter in negative pending.

    We have added the ability to create a deal with purely negative pending in a new version of Matrix and will be rolling out these changes in 2017 to our users.

    With our early summer release, you will be able to export the contact list to .CSV format. It will also include the address information of each contact even though it’s not displaying on screen so that you can use this file with mail merging applications. Pretty cool feature thanks to your request!

  20. Allow managers to have some ability to make changes

    For example there are several inactive AE's I would like to delete from this report. I also will have some budget changes, I would like to be able to change these as needed

    Managers have the ability to filter reports. This includes salespeople that you may not wish to see for any number of reasons.

    Also, you now have the ability to edit budgets for salespeople or revenue types.

    I hope you have found this to be useful over the past few weeks of using it.
