Our developers are hard at work on a new feature that will automatically close out months and reduce the pending down to $0 as dollars come in for that account/salesperson/outlet/revenue type combinations.

Keep in mind, it’s very important to be accurate with your forecasting if you want Matrix to automatically handle pending for you as it is imported from traffic. If Matrix cannot find a match, then you will still be responsible for manually removing the pending (though we think we’ve even made that experience much easier too!)

You can expect to see this enhancement in our next big release, currently slated for the end of this month.

We are starting a prototyping phase of enhancing the whole deal experience which includes handling the closing of individual months better. In fact, we’re looking into a way to have Matrix close those months for you when it can make an accurate decision in doing so.
