  1. Add an Outlet Column to the Deals Created Report

    In order to pull a reps complete 'look' of their Deals Created (proposed and/or pending), a column defining the Outlet would be a huge help.

    Multiple Outlets can exist per Deal and it’s unfortunately not possible to structure this report with the Outlet in it. We pull in the “deal header” level information but not the “deal details” due to the many to one relationship.

    We are not likely to handle this request. The engine being used to generate the exports cannot handle the top level not being row headers and would be a very costly rewrite of the engine to handle this need.

    We, unfortunately, have to say there are a lot of bigger bang for your buck improvements that we can make that would add more value to the product (and your workflow) than this.

    The summary is designed to show you the interactions on an Account Profile (like a contact was created, a deal was closed, or an activity was created) like an audit log and not meant to show the recent and upcoming Activities.

    For that, we recommend that you view the Activities tab which is sorted by the schedule date and shows you a chronological order of activities, past and future.

  4. Filter remains when mapped from Report to Sales Outlook

    Example:
    Run most Report for AE Revenue
    AE is selected from within the Report, which takes you to SalesOutlook, but SalesOutlook does not keep the filter settings as they are set in the Report.

    We will not be taking on this request.

    There needs to be a difference between a person (contact) and a business (Account or Agency). There is definitely a relationship between them, and we should make sure that we take every step possible to simplify the experience, but simply not wanting to add a contact is not going to match up with our product vision let alone any CRM today.

  6. Export a list or report of all Shared Accounts

    Currently the only place this is found is on the AE Profile Page. How soon will this be available to filter the Account list or a toggle in reports?

  7. Be able to filter the "My Watch List" by OUTLET, OFFICES & REVENUE TYPE

    One of our user reported that there is an total difference when he compared “Sales outlook filter” and “My watch list”.
    We replicated in EA and we found that this is because “My watch list” filter don’t have the option to include Outlets, Offices, Revenue Types.
    Please implement these filters in “My Watch list” section.

    My Watch List will not be supported in the new Monarch product as it is not a heavily used feature.

    We will look toward alerts and data cards to answer similar questions with Monarch as My Watch List was a precursor to those designs.

  8. Nothing stating that anything is being saved when editing a Deal

    When making a change to a Deal in Monarch, there is nothing displaying that changes are being saved. It would avoid confusion if there was some type of visual indicator stating that "changes have been saved"

    This is most likely not something that we are going to take on within Monarch.

    Every input has a green checkmark. If you hover over it, you’ll see we call it the “Submit” button. Submits by nature are saves and we feel that calling out something on screen with our traditional green messages in the upper right would annoy users as they type and tab through values and if we updated a little message on screen each time it would not be noticed / be wasted development effort.

    I will talk with our Success team that trains users to make sure they emphasize that we’re an inline saving solution, meaning most screens save as changes are made.

  9. Filters not sticking on Team page

    When I filter the page then click off the page to something else then go back to the page, the filter doesn't save...so there's no way to deafualt 1o A.E.'s I would like to see?

    We are transitioning away from the Team Page as a whole and putting efforts into the recently released Sales Productivity data card, which can be accessed from the home page data cards, as the primary way to put your sales team(s) up against each other for comparison and stats.


    We will be declining this request, but we hope that you give the Sales Productivity a try too!

    That is correct. You don’t get different commissions on the same Outlet unless you specify the Revenue Type.

    You get X% on Outlet1 / RevType1
    You get Y% on Outlet1 / RevType2

    Think of it as you get a new business commission and you get a different commission for maintaining existing business.

    We do not see this changing in the near future.

  11. It would be extremely helpful if we were able to pull a Forecast report that includes the AE's notes on the accounts.

    If AEs could add notes in the Activities/Activities and Notes tab, then have the notes actually show up on the Forecast Report when the Show Notes option is chosen, it would be very beneficial for both AEs and management to see additional information besides simply seeing the pending/forecast dollars.

    This is not likely to be something that we implement in the future. We do, however, want to make things clearer as to who the owner is for an item like an activity and who created it…but the idea of filtering this information on an Account Profile is not likely.

  17. CSV file uploads

    I just wanted to make a suggestion about CSV files. It would be very convenient if we had a CSV file template we could use and then upload the CSV to the system to log our activities. Many weeks I have over 100 activities to log after I have entered them into excel.

    Why are you entering activities into Excel as opposed to entering them into Monarch from the start?

    It’s commendable that you’re creating and updating activities at all (truly awesome!), but we’d recommend that you bite the bullet and put them into the CRM so that they can be utilized more effectively than an Excel document. If it’s a matter of other people have different processes, then we definitely need to put your team in touch with our Success team at Matrix to help understand how we can optimize things for you :)

    The "Most Contacted" area within the Account Profile on the right should show more contact information if available. Example their home address, etc...

    We are most likely not going to take this feedback on. We offer the most common ways to reach out to someone in order to get a quick action done like calling or emailing. Anything else doesn’t feel like a quick need and we recommend navigating to the profile page. If the concern is navigating away from your account profile, then right click on the contact’s name and open in a new tab.

  19. Add existing contacts to an account

    If you have a contact that now handles a different account, in addition to one they already have, you can not add it to the account without entering a new contact. It would be nice to be able to attach multiple accounts to a contact and also be able to just add them to the most contacted list.

    John Smith might be John Smith no matter where he works, but the information for John Smith at Business1 are different from John Smith at Business2 often including the email address used.

    One caveat to this is that we have instances where someone might work at a corporate headquarters and oversee multiple individual accounts (ex: Auto Dealers…City Audi, City Toyota, etc).

    We’re actually looking to move contacts to be owned by the business and not by salespeople in the future and this wouldn’t work together with that plan. This includes the idea of having an HQ type of reference as well.

  20. include a cc option on the support ticket

    Please include a "copy" option on the support and feedback tabs. This way a manager can be aware of what is being requested and can follow up when necessary.

    This is not something that we have any control over. Both the Support ticket and Feedback tools are 3rd party integrations that we have where those 3rd parties control the experience and we’re simply able to “skin” them in a way that looks pleasing to use.

    We integrate with folks like this because they know how to handle Feedback and Support while we focus on providing better solutions for salespeople and their managers.

    Hopefully that makes sense, but if either ever provides this option rest assured we will want to turn these features on and make use of them! :)
