  1. reveune history for a duopoly

    For a duopoly with multiple outlets, it would be great to see this by outlet versus all summed up...at least an option to separate it.

    This functionality exists today. I see that you are submitting this feedback from an Account Profile so I’ll talk to that experience and mention others.

    While on an Account Profile, click on the Revenue tab. When the grid loads, click the dropdown next to “Show revenue by…” and change it from Totals to Outlets. This will show a breakdown of the revenue by Outlet.

    Alternatively you can run the Multi-Year Sales History report with a hierarchy like Account → Outlet and see each Account broken down by Outlets.

  2. Freeze the headers on the report

    When you scroll down on a report, It would be nice to lock the column headers in place so that I know what I am looking at.

    We pulled a rabbit out of the hat on this one and have enabled frozen column headers and frozen Name column on all reports. It’s actually more of a “floating” header/column as it moves a bit but it will always show up with scrolling now. Enjoy!

  3. Shared accounts - for the user that the account is being shared with to be able to add deals under their name, instead of owner of account

    Shared accounts - for the user that the account is being shared with to be able to add deals under their name, instead of owner of account. Currently, the sharee can only add deals under the owners name. We would like it if the deal the sharee adds shows under their name. This is an urgent request for KUSI.

    We have completed work on a new way to handle sharing accounts which includes deals.

    You can now have Shared Access to accounts which will allow you to create your own deals! Keep in mind that if the revenue does not come in that way from the traffic/billing system that you will need to manually reconcile your deals.

    This is great for organizations that have someone that is like the digital specialist and works with nearly everyone on the sales team, but may not be out prospecting new business on their own.

    We have recently released our update for contacts between accounts and agencies for Monarch.

    First we’re allowing multiple Agencies to create shortcuts to their contacts on the Account Profile page and giving you the option on which Contacts you wish to see since not every person at an agency will help you to close business with every account.

    Secondly we’re going to allow the contacts from an Agency to count towards Lead approval. Once done, you simply need a contact from the Account or affiliated Agency in order to satisfy this requirement.

    We hope that you find a ton of value in this and look forward to seeing you increasing your efficiency in Monarch this year!

  6. Add Account as a sort option on Bird's Eye View

    I have wished for this for years. It is cumbersome to find a specific account unless you know the AE, then you have to keep clicking down and down, until you find the account.

    Search functionality is the best option to use for the question that you proposed. You can use the global search in the upper right of any page or go to the Account List and perform a search.

  7. Have a preference to limit the items in State dropdown

    Allow uses to exclude states/provinces based on country. This should be a user setting where each person can choose if they want to see US, Canada, Australia, Mexico, etc.(Suggested by customer)

    State is now dependent upon country for Accounts, Contacts, and Agencies. This does mean that country is required, but fear not! For every site has a default country that should handle the majority of cases out there and you always have the option to change it.

    This is actually going to be part of our release this April which is currently targeted for a 4/16 general release.

    You’ll see Week, Month, Quarter, and Year options and you’ll be able to navigate back/forward as much as you like.

  9. Manager Deal Preferences

    A manager should be able to select on an AE's Deals and the MGR or the AE's Deal Preferences should populate the Deal. It does not.

    Preferences are once again pulled in by the account owner when creating a deal as a manager.

    Ex: on the Deal Management page, clicking onto an account while expanding a salesperson will put that salesperson’s preferences onto a new deal created.

  10. Show Agency name on the Account Profile Page

    Can someone tell me why the Agency name is not found anywhere besides the Account list only after you click on the plus sign next to the name. Why is it not displayed someone where when viewing the Account?

    Why not have if it displayed after the Advertiser name (top left hand side of the page)? This cannot be that difficult, right?

    The Account Profile now shows you the relationship with the current Agency(s) and any previous agencies, whether from billing or via prospecting, from the Agency Relationships tab.

  11. Pacing and Weighted Forecast on the Same Report

    Currently we use the Weighted Forecast feature in Matrix, and is only available on the Weighted Forecast report. Why can this not be available on the Pacing report as well? Especially when there is a Forecast column available.

    You cannot limit the customer to one report when they depend on this figure throughout Matrix.

    Pacing and Forecast dollars alone is not good enough since the AE's can "Pad" their forecasting numbers. Utilizing the Weighted Forecast information will give us a true representation if we will meet our Budget or not.

  12. Pop out BirdsEye View to edit pendings

    Allow the window to pop out and expand full length on desktop to work on pendings. It tends to roll around quite a bit on my computer. It would be great if it could be seen full length.

    We have created a Deals Created by Time frame report that lets you see the deals that are created in a given time frame.

    It is a custom report, and I cannot turn this on for you by default, so I encourage you to reach out to your Success Manager at Matrix in order to see if we can get this turned on for you.

    Unfortunately we didn’t hear back about additional information for importing deals. I’m still confused why or where you are doing deals that need to get imported into Matrix instead of starting there, but then I thought perhaps you’re utilizing a system like Strata, AdConnections, or KATZ and would find it beneficial to create deals from their information.

    If that’s the case we have integrations with each of those groups and I’d be happy to send information to you (or a decision maker) to help you understand how we can provide a clearer picture around forecasting!

  15. Shifting pending from one month to another month

    I would like to be able to shift the pending from one month to another month without re-enter the pending$. For example, if I have a deal for January and then I want to change that to the month of February. The dollar amounts get deleted from January but we have to go in and enter the dollar amounts for February again. This is the added work that should NOT be required.

    A copy pending option exists for each detail row. Click on the paper/copy icon and you’ll be presented with a few different options for manipulating pending in timesaving ways. In using your example…this will allow you to copy the pending from January and place it into any other month on on the deal. You can then change your timeframe, zero our the previous month, or modify the deal as you see fit afterwards.

  16. Grouping National offices on reports

    – I want to be able to drill down to station by Outlet and have all the National outlets group together. I can do that by pulling Outlet. Rev type and selecting only National in office below - however would like to pull by Office, Outlet, Rev Type and have all the National office group as one when I check include groups at the top.

    We are transitioning our reporting into a new tool that allows you to view groups only or groups and individual items within. You should start seeing these reports update and trickle out over time.

  18. entering new budget for the new year, if matrix technical support could assist by importing our client lists , this would be extremly helpfu

    while inputting budget increases currently our 2016 is blank. If the Matrix technical support team could import our client list to our 2016 new budget list , this would be extremely helpful and time saving. we are unable to copy and paste on our end but I am assuming this is something you can do on your end. Is this something you can do or work on doing in the very near future?

    Unfortunately I was unable to get additional information on this request. I still stand by my original solution of utilizing the Save & Add Another button when closing an activity. That will copy the most pertinent information into a new incomplete activity and allow you to change anything else that needs updated.

  20. Notes section for Agencies

    There should be a notes section for all of your agencies. This way if you don't have a contact or a specific account under them yet you can enter important notes (such as they don't buy the medium you sell).
