Ability to add a New Agency
There are times when an agency has yet to work with our station, but we would like to get their business. it would be great if I could create a new agency in Matrix and begin creating activities with them.

We have just finished testing this feature and I’m happy to say it will be a part of our January release! Finally you will be able to create an agency and forecast for them without having to wait for the agency to come in from traffic.

It says this is part of the January release. Has it occurred yet? I am trying to add an agency (as a contact for an existing advertiser) that has not yet billed with us and am unable to. If you could please provide a solution, I would be very grateful! Thank you!

Adding an agency is something we're adding in the next release which we hope to get out in January if all goes well. Until then, the only way to work with a new agency is to wait for it to come in through traffic imports.
I am going to merge this story into existing requests for adding an agency.

Not to get off topic, but your comments on Deals for Agencies is actually another enhancement that we have written up to lessen the restrictions on Deals so that Account OR Agency are required when saving a deal. No ETA yet as this has not been prioritized.
Combining these two ideas sounds like it might be a winner?

Ryan, the need is for both what Cheryl has shared as well as to add to a prospect that I might be calling on direct but then has an agency. Yes, I would expect an agency profile page to be created as well. I also have an agency who will not always reveal the actual client (crazy,right) when requesting an rfp but only the industry. I'm not sure how to handle that as a deal other without adding a made up "account". I'd like to just add that under the agency w/o an account.
Thoughts? What I'm doing now is not entering it at all unless I get the buy and then I can add as a deal and immedialy close it as a win because then I have the account name. -

I want to make sure I understand the business needs here...
You are speaking with an agency. You want to record an activity with that agency, but you cannot do that because the Agency does not exist within Matrix yet.
So...In order to properly fill out an activity, as a salesperson, you would like a way to add said agency to your activities.
Would you also expect an agency profile page to be created as well as having the agency placed on the Agency list?
Just trying to see what all is necessary so that we can try to write up an enhancement and plan for something like this. Any/All information will help in prioritizing this request.
