    I’m afraid we have to include features like changing passwords on a regular basis in order to accommodate growing IT and security requirements from our customers.

    If a user left and nobody deactivated that user, at least after 90 days they would no longer access the system. Think of it as one of your fellow AEs leaving and still having access to your master list and poaching accounts. Not cool.

  2. Include contacts with Account List Export

    when exporting the Account list, have the Contact Information come over with the account.

  4. Have the main entered in the "add account" show up as we "add contact" to the customer

    when I add an account, why not have the input that is added for the account show up as default for the contact who is added right after

  5. When back is clicked, bring me back to where I was

    When in accounts and I click on the account and once I see what I need, when I hit the back button, it brings me back to the beginning of the account list instead of where I left off.

    Common navigation for web sites and web applications where the flow is back and forth from high level to detail is to make use of the browsers tab style navigation.

    In this example, you could load the Account list and then for each account that you need to look at in greater detail just right click and open each in a new tab. This will actually speed up the process as it doesn’t require the list to be reloaded from the server each time.

  6. Add a FILTER on the sorting heading

    In account list, if you could add a Filter to the heading columns, this way you can sort and just get what you want, rather than a continuous list.

    A filter already exists on the account list. the button looks like a small pencil near the green “Accounts” title and will allow you to filter Outlets, Offices, Salespeople, Type, and in the next release…Tags.

    Thanks for your feedback Leslie. This was a tricky one for us as we got a lot of feedback requesting the ability to see more layers of revenue in the pod by breaking out Outlets and Rev Types. In turn, this gave us less room to work with…especially when monthly sales exceed $100,000 and made the numbers unreadable.
    We’ll continue to think about how we can give you the best of both worlds and will implement a solution if we come up with one. In the meantime, you can hover over the number to get the exact amount for each month.

  10. Account Ranking Queries

    I think it would be great if we could run a report that will display accounts that meet certain criteria like accounts that are - or + $500 compared to previous year.

    This can be accomplished today in multiple ways. The Ranking Report is a great solution by sorting on the difference. For example if $500 is your threshold, perform a descending sort on the difference column to get your results.


    The Build Your Own Financials report can also do this with even less columns if you truly only care about the TY, LY, and Difference values.

    we need a next acton tab that lets you put in a reminder that syncs with outlook. This is very important and needs to be done asap. also whe you enter a new prospect/client how about a primary contact position.

  15. DISPLAY BILLING TOTALS MORE DISCRETE

    WHEN WORKING IN THE ACCOUNTS WINDOW, THE TOTALS ARE DISPLAYED AT TOP OF PAGE. ALL SALESPEOPLE WORK IN CUBICLES AND HAVE NO PRIVACY. WOULD PREFER TO HAVE THE TOTALS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE OR SOMEWHERE OTHER THAN FRONT AND CENTER.

  16. Fix the navigation between the client screen and the account list.

    1) I drill down to an account from the account list, which is page 4 of my account list, all the way down at the bottom.
    2) I do my stuff---deals, pending, so forth--in the account profile page.
    3) I navigate back to the account list, but now, I'm transported back to the account list page 1, top of the page.

    Suggestion: fix the navigation to take you back to the precisely same place, exactly on the page, where you were before drilling down.

    While we think is a fine idea, for the time being we recommend that you use your browsers right click feature and open the account in a new tab or window if you must use the list. Once you complete the work, you can close that tab/window and your list will remain where you left off.

    Ultimately the search bar is the best place to find accounts that you know you need to work with, but we do understand that some people find lists to be a better visual representation.

  17. In the sales graph, assign a color to a year and keep it consistent throughout.

    Now, 2011 can be red on one account, purple the next. Confusing.

    the low benefit, ease of workaround (F5 or click refresh) and consistent low prioritization of this feature makes it clear that we probably won’t be getting around to doing this one.

    The Term " HISTORY OF ACCT" should appear within the acct profile page instead of showing Activity/Contact/Details, etc..This is helpful for newcomers using Monarch.

    We can only work with fields that are in both revenue areas (which Revenue Type is) and Activities (which Revenue Type is not) as that is the only way to make a proper connection. 


    Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate this request.
