Account Ranking Queries
I think it would be great if we could run a report that will display accounts that meet certain criteria like accounts that are - or + $500 compared to previous year.
This can be accomplished today in multiple ways. The Ranking Report is a great solution by sorting on the difference. For example if $500 is your threshold, perform a descending sort on the difference column to get your results.
The Build Your Own Financials report can also do this with even less columns if you truly only care about the TY, LY, and Difference values.
Thanks for your feedback.

A specific example of how I would use it is: Weekly we have to provide a report to the publisher and ad manager which in additon to our highlights and initiatives we also have to list every account that has a +500 variance from last year whether positive or negative. Last week I just went to Account Ranking and sorted it by $Diff and looked for those that were over $500 more than last year then $500 or more under last years number.....Now Account Ranking is no longer available and it's even harder to get that variance...I'm actually not even sure how I'm going to do it for tomorrow's report. I'm sure with this function there are even more applications for it but this is the most immediate fuction I'm looking for.

If you had this type of information, what would you do with it? Depending on how you answer, it will help us to understand this request better and maybe even enhance other areas of Matrix.
Thanks!
