  1. Expand the number of characters on the deal name field when entering a quick deal

    If I have an account that has a long name, and I try to enter a quick deal. , now I have to edit the deal name before I can enter dollars. It then becomes not a quick deal.

  2. Improve the training process

    Implement the system SAVING progress of training. 5 hours straight is not necessarily realistic for many of us. If I spend 1 hour here and then logon at another location or another pc - to continue and that 1 hour isn't saved. Then I have to repeat training over and over until I dedicate 5 hours straight. This doesn't make sense and isn't up to 2012 tech standards.

    We have recently implemented a fast track training process that takes about an hour. It will get you into Matrix and started using the main pieces of the product without providing every last detail about features.

    Additional training materials are provided for a more in-depth look and can be accessed from the same training area as before.

    When viewing the feedback dialog, click on “browse ideas” in the upper left

    Log into the feedback from this page (typically just your email address) in the upper right

    Once you are logged in, click on the “My Feedback” link in the categories on the right.

  4. Add a station (outlet) budget field

    Would like the ability to add station (outlet) budget that would roll-up. Often times these are different than the roll-up of the AE budgets.

    We have completed work on Adjustment budgets. Adjustments allow managers to add or subtract numbers from the normal roll-up budget without changing the numbers that make the roll-up work.

  6. I would like to see strike throughs on the master account list

    I am unable to determine which users are "Inactive" when doing maintenance from the master account list. These users were never on teams, so I cannot do the reassignments from the regular account list.

    This feature has been tested and approved. We also enhanced the agency lists so that they displayed strikethroughs properly. You can look forward to seeing these changes within Matrix before the quarter is up.

    We just finished adding Hawaiian, Alaskan, and Arizona timezones to Matrix. You can expect to see this in a patch in mid July.

  8. Update Forecast from any Forecast Report

    We enter National forecasts at the account level, and it is very difficult to quickly update a forecast from the Deal screen.

    What would be very efficient is if a deal could be updated from any Forecast report.

    I noticed that the account is highlighted like there is a link, however, there is none. Maybe have the account have a link if there is a forecast that could be updated for the time period of the report?

    This would make life so much easier for us, which by the way, we are the "poster child" on how to enter and…

    The Sales Outlook Pod (similar to a forecasting report) and the Account List will have the ability to enter/edit Quick Deals in our very next release…due out this weekend.

    Quick Deals allow you to get in, get out, and get on with your lives by letting you go down a list and updating/adding deals without losing your place on the list and w/o leaving the page.

    Heck, we’re even going so far as to tell you deals you might want to close based upon recent imports!

    This next release should increase your efficiency within Matrix that you might even have extra time to go golfing with that important client that you keep putting off! you know the one!

    Our new product, Monarch, does not include this type of functionality. We are formalizing and upgrade plan for all of our customers over the next year and we look forward to seeing you in Monarch soon!

    it would be nice to have a "next" option instead of returning to birds eye then scrolling down to finding the next account.,

    reviewed some quick ways to navigate through Matrix. Trying out the Actions → Add an Activity and right click, new tab for account profiles. Requester feels they pretty user friendly.

  11. add a reconciliation feature that auto-adjusts Pending dollars.

    In the previous Matrix projected dollars would be reconciled once an order was entered into OSI. There was an auto-adjust of the pending dollars that allowed the AE to see if they were over or under on individual projections.

    In our next release, we are making it much easier to quickly close deals based upon recently imported dollar amounts for the same accounts.

    Once an import occurs, Matrix will look for any deals with dollars for the same time frame as the imported dollars. If any months match, we’ll bring these deals to your attention where you can immediately close-win the deal, or ignore it until a later time.

    Look for this as part of your My Deals pod on the Bird’s Eye View in a couple of weeks!

  12. Month +2 reports are missing headers after page 1

    Column headers only appear on page 1. Need them on pages 2, 3, etc.

    We have just completed testing of this fix and are happy to announce that the Month +2 reports will now show their headers after page 1.

    You can expect to see the fix in our next release due out this month!

  13. keep current parameter setting for entire session

    I want to work in July month and sort clients alphabetically. I'd like it to stay that way as I work and not reset to June and revenue every time i got back to bird's eye to select the next client

    Your browser will now remember the way the Sales Outlook Pod looked the last time you ran it.

    This will persist as long as you do not clear your browsers cookies.

    Also, don’t forget you can right click and open each client in a new tab. It’s actually the fastest way to navigate as you do not have to render the bird’s eye view every time you go back and you will not lose your scroll position.

  15. fix the automatic populate of the Account.

    I have been entering some activities and for some reason, it won't save without an error saying the account is not entered. I enter the contact, then it automatically populates the account/Client.

    I’m not sure when this was fixed, but I just verified that I could create/save an activity by adding a contact that autofills the account for me.

    With our new budgeting implementation this fall, if the AE does not exist on the default template created, you can easily add them to the list. If you need assistance with this, please contact support and we’ll help you out!

    You’ll want to reach out to our service and support team when you are ready to enter budgets and they will go over some great time saving techniques in getting the most out of your budgeting experience. Adding new items for this year’s budget turned out to be a huge hit and we can’t wait for you to get in there and try it out when ready!

  20. Prospect Approvals

    After the upgrade AE's now have the right to enter their own prospects. As a manager we were told there would be an approval process. I don't see an approval process. One of my AE's added a prospect this morning as a test and it was automatically added to the master list.

    A member of our support or sales team should be in contact with your organization as they are planning to turn on the Leads feature. We didn’t want to turn this on for everyone since it’s not a practice in place at every organization, so we are strategically migrating users into Leads.
