Deals can be closed by any manager with access, or they can be picked up by the new AE receiving the accounts.

I’m afraid we have to include features like changing passwords on a regular basis in order to accommodate growing IT and security requirements from our customers.
If a user left and nobody deactivated that user, at least after 90 days they would no longer access the system. Think of it as one of your fellow AEs leaving and still having access to your master list and poaching accounts. Not cool.

Include contacts with Account List Export
when exporting the Account list, have the Contact Information come over with the account.

Sort accounts/contacts with the A-Z bar on the top
I noticed that the A-Z bar on the top has been removed with the upgrade. I just feel this option was very useful and is going to make finding accounts way more time consuming.
1 voteThe search bar has the same functionality of the alpha index, but also has added functionality that will speed up locating information.
If you wish to find an Account or Contact that started with “M” simply type “M”. It will perform the same was as the old index of clicking “M”
The added time saving functionality comes in the enhanced use of actually typing the name of the Contact or Account that you are looking for. Ex: I am looking for “Motor City Speedway” i do not have to look for “M” and then go through a couple pages of data. I can simply type “motor” and the account will be found.

Turn an Activity into a Deal
Give AE's the ability to modify an activity and turn it into a deal so that it follows the sales cycle and requires less typed entries

create avail activities without needing a specific account
I am creating an avail for an agency, but do not have a specific account tied to it. I can't create the activity in pending deals without listing a specific account, and it won't let me use the Agency name for it.

Put the feedback tab somewhere else
the feedback tab blocks the dates of our overview. I think moving it to the bottom or at the very top. The left or the right of the screen blocks the dates.

Please add the feature back in that allows the user to "up" the dollars by a given/designated percentage. We relied heavily on this report, could process it with one click as a favorite, and now that it's gone it takes a lot longer to reproduce with Excel. We really miss it! Thank you.
3 votesWe’ve taken a hard look at this request and unfortunately do not feel that it embodies the spirit of Matrix in our effort to provide accurate, analytical information.
That being said, reports like the Multi-Year Sales History report can easily be manipulated within Excel just as the original requester noted. With new and upcoming changes like searching for specific accounts and filtering by categories, it should be much easier to create a custom export of this in which you can increase the spending of said accounts.
I would be happy to take the time to show anyone who voted for this feature how to manipulate their Excel exports in order to get the information that you are looking for.

Have the main entered in the "add account" show up as we "add contact" to the customer
when I add an account, why not have the input that is added for the account show up as default for the contact who is added right after

Have dates within deals default to the time period you're working in.
When working in quarterly forecasting, it would be helpful if the dates would default to the quarter in which you are working. Currently I am working on 3Q forecast but my default dates are for 5/21/12 - 7/31/12. Annoying to have to change them every time.

Developers are also not sure how to incorporate psychic code into Matrix.
Would love to discuss in the future if you have the time.

Add Month, Qtr, Year on the AE My Deals pod
So that when I am looking at my deals pod it is relevant information. ex: I am only worried about Q2 2012 right not not about the deals for 2013
3 votesWe are eliminating the My Deals pod and replacing it with a new Recently Imported pod that WILL be timebased. You tell use the actual days you’re interested in and we’ll show you what was imported on those days, how those dollars impacted existing deals (we’re going to automatically start closing your deals for you!), and what’s truly remaining in pending.
Should be a win win for everyone involved and we’ll certainly want your feedback after you use it for a few weeks.

Non-Returning Business
Need dialogue box for non-returning business when forecasting...don't want to add a Deal or an Activity--just want to say 'client never paid their bill'

As with many web applications, the browser back button is not typically used as part of the navigation. It’s not easy, sometimes impossible, to track specifically where a user came from and exactly how that page was left.
Matrix functions in much the same way and we have been telling our users to make use of modern browser multi-tabbed navigation functionality.
Simply right click and open each link in a new tab. This actually speeds up load times as you do not need to render the page you would normally come back to each time it is visited. It will also leave your original page (the Birds Eye View) in the same condition you left it in after closing the new tab.

make it possible to include Prefix on the import of contacts
you have a drop down for it in create/edit contact dialog but no field on the import wizard
