Work on a new Project experience is beginning.

We recognize that Deals and Projects are a separate experience, but together they contribute to the overall Forecast and need to play nicely together.

Our goal is to flip the existing model on it’s head and streamline the creation, management, and reporting process.

Once we get closer to having something to show, we may reach out to some of you for input.

We are planning to flip the Deals and Projects around so that you create deals from the projects. In essence that would make what you are describing actually happen.

We have not yet started this, but plan to start development early 2019.

That works great until you attach a project to a deal that includes your regular quarterly buy + a project as many of our customers do.

I’m working on an investigative project right now that flips the way Deals and Projects work on it’s head where you add a deal to a project instead of a project to a deal that might feel more like what you want. No ETA on it right now, but you’ll know when/if it’s coming since you provided us feedback. :)
