We just finished testing this feature as part of our budget overhaul. You can expect to see this in our September 15th release!
Thanks for hanging in there! We wanted to make sure our new budgeting process would meet or exceed the vast majority of our users needs and this required a lot of additional planning!

i wanted to see if we can help you out with navigation issue.
You are able to right click on links and open in a new tab. It's the most efficient way to flip back and forth between web pages on the internet.
It's common for web apps to not hold settings between pages as they are meant to use in site navigation instead of browser back/forward buttons. Hopefully you'll find the right click and open in a new tab method to be a quicker way of getting information within Matrix.
