    We have just finished testing this feature and after doing a few user experience tests with folks I am happy to say that you will all be quite excited by the results :)

    The general workflow is that you go to your deal management page, load a deal, and then click the copy button for each Outlet. You supply a number and then pick which months it applies to on the deal and that number is generated for the entire row. No more tab typing your way across the screen :)

    You can look forward to using this as part of our next release which will be out on March 28th!

  2. Allow the editing of Notes or Deleting of Notes everywhere

    In case I have a typo or there is information that is no longer valid to prevent clutter. Like I have 2 notes where I have duplicate information. Or the ability to delete specific notes under account.

    We have just finished implementing this into our new product which will be rolled out out over time in 2017. Thank you so much for the feedback on this and making it clear that this type of functionality is necessary!

    Keep the feedback coming! We’re trying to fix quite a few shortcomings with the next installment of Matrix and position ourselves to better make changes like this over time.

  3. Allow an option to filter the account list by category

    One of my favorite features of the old Matrix allowed us to look for a complete list that would include all accounts in the category, regardless of whether they are active, billing, pending, or just a prospect. Thanks for your help with this.

    We have just finished testing a new feature that will allow you to create custom Account, Contact (and in the future Agency) lists.

    One of the filterable items is Category among many other fields including City, State, and Zip!

    This will be part of our Fall release this year within Matrix Premium so keep your eyes peeled for updates!

  4. LAST USE OF ACCOUNT visable to all

    We need to have a last activity system

    like notes, are vewable and unchangable. this gives a quick overview of who is using the system as well. Other reps can see that on the master list to see who is not working accounts or at least logging info in case they want to take something over. there is still a reps privacy there but enables people on multiple levels to use that simple piece of info for several things.

    We have finished testing this feature to add the last activity dates to the Master Account List. This experience will be similar to what you have in Mobile and we can’t wait to share it with you in our April release!

    Along with seeing the completed last activity, you can see if a future activity is scheduled. This will definitely make your prospecting better and hopefully encourage everyone to enter their activities into Matrix in order to turn around sales faster than ever before. You don’t want to be the guy not entering or completing your activities now!

  5. AE's Share their inbox/views/accounts

    I have two AE's who are on a transactual team. The cover each others accounts and get paid on total billing between the two. Is there anyway they can view each other?

    We have just completed testing this feature and will have it available to you sometime in early Q4 2013 along with some other awesome features that we’re finishing up as we speak

    The process of sharing an account is initiated by a manager who grants access to the AEs who need to see each others information. Once access is granted, everyone sharing the account can see each others information from Contacts to activities to Deals and revenue.

    Please note this is not revenue sharing. Unless broken out in your traffic system, Matrix will continue to report the revenue under the user that comes from traffic. This might change in the future, but for the first phase expect it to work like that.

  6. copy projected budgets to forecast by account

    Projected budgets are manually put in per account for the year by each AE. Can that number be transferred over to your projections. This would save a lot of time and elimante dublicate work.

    This is now live for folks on the new budget experience!

    While working on a deal, you will have the ability to pull in the budget information with the click of a button. Matrix will replace your deal with the budget values for the entire deal time frame. This is an amazingly fast way to get the baseline of a deal together with minimal effort.

    Note that if the button does not display then Matrix was unable to find a matching budget that is suitable for the deal you are putting together.

  7. Set a cap or limit on leads and prospects

    Matrix Plus had the ability for us to code prospects as targets and extras, with the ability to also cap those. When could I expect that option to be available in the new Matrix?

    We have created a new alert that can help you to achieve this!

    From your Alerts page, create a new alert from the Leads and Prospects Above Threshold Thresholds alert. Here you can set the number of Leads and Prospects a salesperson is allowed to have.

    We recommend that you use this as part of your regular one on ones and for salespeople to use this in order to stay out of the crosshairs of your managers!

    We will most likely NOT be putting a hard cap on Leads and Prospects after speaking with a number of managers and salespeople. It just opened up a can of worms that could lead to unhappiness and loss of revenue, and we feel managing the experience like this is better for everyone. Hey even the police often let you go over the speed limit by a couple of MPH!

  8. Additional email boxes

    Some contacts have several email addresses and we only have a place to enter one. It would be very helpful if there were an option to add additional emails to one contact.

    This has been completed and is ready for you to use. Now all contacts will have a primary and secondary email address that will display in locations like the Contact Profile and List Builder!

  10. Add more years to the "yr-Yr Detail" section of the account profile pages

    Currently you can only see the current year and the past year. In 2012 when we are working on 2013, we cannot see revenue details that might already be booked for an account in the FUTURE. That's very difficult to see where there might be dollars missing for a particular account at a glance.

  11. Add zero billing accounts

    Please add zero billing accounts to our account lists in Matrix to be viewable on our own lists as well as other AE's so that we do not duplicate.

    We have rolled this out to all but a handful of our corporate customers now and are still getting groups lined up to make the switch to what we call "Multi-Stage Account Management". 


    Zero billing accounts will be converting BACK to prospect so that visibility can be maintained for others as well as making it easier for the owner to access their accounts.

  12. Merge Accounts

    Manager's should be able to merge accounts with the same name, but that are spelled slightly different. We should also either be able to pick the proper account name, OR it should default to the name it needs to be (if it affects other stations).

    We just released this functionality last weekend!

    Managers now have the ability to group, rename, and merge accounts as long as they’re 100% in your partition (usually market) so that it does not impact others in the system.

    I’m going to pass your names along to our success team and let them know that you’re all interested in this functionality as you need to have the permission to do it first.

  13. Show Agency name on the Account Profile Page

    Can someone tell me why the Agency name is not found anywhere besides the Account list only after you click on the plus sign next to the name. Why is it not displayed someone where when viewing the Account?

    Why not have if it displayed after the Advertiser name (top left hand side of the page)? This cannot be that difficult, right?

    The Account Profile now shows you the relationship with the current Agency(s) and any previous agencies, whether from billing or via prospecting, from the Agency Relationships tab.

  14. I should be able to delete prospects that have deals

    It doesn't matter what status the deal is, i should be able to just delete the prospect.

    This page could benefit users greatly if two enhancements are made:
    1-Export to Excel
    2-Expand page as in reporting to allow users to see all data without scrolling.

    We have completed the responsive design portion of the UI for a new version of Matrix and will be rolling the changes out throughout 2017. The current version of Matrix will not receive this responsive design upgrade, but we think you’ll love what we have in store for you in the next major upgrade!

    I have spun off a request for the export into a separate issue that we will want to address later in our backlog.

  16. Automatically reassign quiet accounts

    If an account has not had any activity or billing in the last X days/months it should automatically be reassigned to inactive

    Alright we sure had fun working through this one with many of our customers and trying to understand the business cases around it.

    This led us to creating the Prospecting functionality within Monarch.

    Prospecting allows salespeople to look at accounts owned by their teammates, and to then request ownership of them to their managers. This puts the pressure on salespeople to keep up with their accounts.

    Salespeople can quickly find accounts without recent billing or those lead/prospect accounts that have no converted to billing accounts after a fair amount of time.

    We can’t wait for more folks to get their hands on it. We know that we don’t have every scenario that people will care about, but please keep the feedback coming as this is an area we care deeply about!

  17. Add column "OUTLET" to Account List

    In order to increase the speed of reassigning accounts, it would be beneficial to have Outlet at the main grid level instead of expanding out each account for reassignments.

  18. Adding REV Type to Account List

    Is it possible to add Rev Type and Potential Rev to Pulling an Account List. TO be able to pull an entire account list and filter by Direct or Agency would be helpful in future forcast and mange activity with Account Executives. These are specific to accounts that have never billed. Just Prospects or Leads.

    We have recently completed a feature called List Builder that will allow you to build Account Lists in a custom fashion including showing Revenue Type and filtering by many different attributes from traditional items like Revenue Type, Outlet, Salesperson to less traditional items in Matrix like City, State, and Zip code. It’s extremely flexible and powerful!

  19. Archive old notes & deleted prospects

    It would be helpful for an entire sales team if a prospect and associated notes were archived. For example, if I go and start working on 'Company X,' and then add notes/activities to that account, only to find out that they aren't going to do business, another AE that thinks about chasing that account down the road should be able to see what didn't work before. We are only allowed to protect a certain number of accounts and this would be very helpful from a client info/organization standpoint.

    Unable to get a reply to the feedback, but I’m pretty confident that this solution will work where managers reassign accounts to some type of “Open” or “House” salesperson. That way they remain within the system for reference, but are not on the AEs list taking up valuable protected space for accounts that can actually be handled.

    When prospecting, as an AE, you will still see those accounts so when inquiring about them with your manager you can review the account together in order to determine if it will be a good fit.

  20. Keeping leads private

    Hello. I would like to be able to enter lead accounts with contact info but not have them show up in the master account list until after the account has been approved my management as one of my "prospects" and carded under my name. The work around I've found for this is to just enter the lead's contact info. This way i can enter activities for it, but If I can't remember the contact name and only remember the advertiser's name than it may be tough for me to locate among all the contacts.

    This functionality has been completed and will actually be out with a patch this weekend on Dec 12th.

    It’s not something that an AE or a MGR can actually setup on their own so you’ll need to work with us to consult and configure it for you.

    I’ll pass along that your team is interested in this functionality to your Matrix Success Manager and she can work with your market to see if this is truly a good fit for you.
