  1. Allow phone number fields to accept extensions

    If a contact has an extension I can't enter it in the phone number fields. Phone number can only be in the format of 123-456-7899.

    I'd like to be able to add extensions like 123-456-7890 x123

    We have just finished up testing on this feature. Turned out great! You can add phone numbers like (123)456-7890 x123 and Matrix will happily accept them.

  2. Need to list E-Mail as an Activity Type

    When I add an activity, the only choices are meeting and phone call. Other could be there, however E-mail is a very common means of interacting with a client.

    Examples:
    1) NEW BUSINESS
    2) DIGITAL
    3) TRANSACTIONAL

    The graph is nice, but I prefer the grid as the primary, go-to format.

    We just finished up changing the default view of the revenue pods to be a grid instead of the chart. Keep in mind we also gave this entire feature a face lift so we hope you find great value in these changes.

  5. Make Due Date column wider on the AE View Activities screen.

    The text gets cut-off in the AE View Activities screen (Due Date column). Make Due Date column wider on the AE View Activities screen. It is currently difficult to understand when the task is due. Even though there is a divsion line betwen future and past due, it's confusing to see "5 Days.." in the column.

  6. Default Activity start/end times to regular business hours

    When adding an activity I often add a start/end time. Most business activities take place during business hours between the times of 9 - 5, however, the Add Activity dialog defaults both start/end times to midnight.

    Instead, default both the start/end times to noon. This reduces the amount of time a user must scroll to choose a time for the activity.

  9. allow Salespeople to modify the report period of the Ranking Report.

    It would be great if, as a salesperson, I could modify the report period for a Ranking Report. It is currently Sept. 27th, I need to be able to see my Accounts' billing for next month - its too late to do anything about it in the current month.

    We have just finished testing the new salesperson ranking report, as well as many other new reports for the salespeople. This includes the ability to modify and filter much of the report in order to suit your needs.

    You can look forward to this in the next release of Matrix.

  10. Need notes area to give additional information on Deals/Activities

    An area where one could input notes or additional information about a deal seems necessary. This would answer simple questions a manager may wonder like a share of a buy or additional info about the sale. This would especially come in handy when a deal is lost so that a manager can offer input for future plans.

  11. Provide LY/TY Revenue on Deal Details

    I'm adding in pending for an account that billed in the past, but I have no baseline to refer to on the Deal screen since my LY billing (or TY, for that matter) doesn't appear.

    I'm forced to go back to account profile page to see the revenue.

  16. Creating Deals should be a one step process

    Currently I have to create the deal and save it. In order to edit the deal, I need to then navigate to the Deal Page. It would be nice if when I created a deal and saved it, that I was automatically navigated to the Deal Page.

    Now when you save a newly created deal, you will load the deal profile automatically. You can expect it in an upcoming release as part of a better deal experience next year. Thank you for your patience!

  18. Sort the Upcoming Pending Deals pod by Est Close Date

    It's currently sorted by the pending dollars, but considering the pod is for "Upcoming" pending, it makes sense to do have the sort by Est Close Date.

  19. Provide a forecast accuracy/change report

    As a manager, I would like to see the original amount my salespeople forecasted for and how that changes over time in comparison to the amount that actually booked.

  20. The ability to "request" account ownership

    Account Executives would be able to request ownership of an unclaimed account. Would make the process much easier on both account executives and managers who would have to manually move the accounts around.

    Salespeople have this functionality today via the Prospecting link on the left. Search for specific accounts, accounts without recent billing in a specific category of business, accounts that are potentially churning. Once you find the account you're looking for you can request it be reassigned to you and the manager that oversees that outlet's decisions will be alerted to your request where they can approve or deny from the same Prospecting page.
