Keeping leads private
Hello. I would like to be able to enter lead accounts with contact info but not have them show up in the master account list until after the account has been approved my management as one of my "prospects" and carded under my name. The work around I've found for this is to just enter the lead's contact info. This way i can enter activities for it, but If I can't remember the contact name and only remember the advertiser's name than it may be tough for me to locate among all the contacts.
This functionality has been completed and will actually be out with a patch this weekend on Dec 12th.
It’s not something that an AE or a MGR can actually setup on their own so you’ll need to work with us to consult and configure it for you.
I’ll pass along that your team is interested in this functionality to your Matrix Success Manager and she can work with your market to see if this is truly a good fit for you.
Thanks for the feedback!

Is there a particular reason that you do not want the leads to show on the Master Account List? Generally, displaying here is for the benefit of a salesperson to show that someone is already working with this customer. That way the customer isn't being called on by multiple salespeople and other salespeople do not waste their time trying to develop business that someone is already in the middle of working.
The workflow that we see quite often goes something like this...
1) AE finds a new lead/prospect
2) AE searches master account list to see if it is claimed
3) If it is claimed, move on. If not, create the lead.I'd love to hear more about your thoughts and workflow if you'd be willing to share with us.
Thanks!
