Do not see my current active agencies
Why does Matrix show all agencies when on the Agency List, when 1/2 of them have stopped doing business with my accounts?
This is not a true representation of the Agencies that I am working on. Why can't there be an option to show ALL agencies, and the default would be show only agencies with accounts that have billed within the last 12 months? Or even better, following whatever our New Business by definition is set to?
I am not happy with this setup, and has render the Agency List useless.
The Agency List now has an option to Display Accounts by the latest Agency only
This will only show the latest agencies so that those an account did business with years ago but are no longer working with will not show up rendering you a current agency list.
Thanks for the feedback!!

Hi Ryan-
Thanks for trying but as I explained when management asks us to quickly make sure all agencies have received a quick one sheet or proposal it's necessary for us to at-a-glance cross reference with our agency list. In most occasions, it's important to review quickly if indeed, the situation warrants each to receive the info depending on the circumstances of the offer, rates etc. I understand this is not the design of the "Agency: My List" function so I will move on and find another solution. The Multi Year History report doesn't suit this purpose either because it still brings up a list of direct and agency accounts on the same list. -

When you come to the Agency List what are you looking to use it for? What question are you trying to answer with it? It's just a list of ALL agencies that you have access to whether current, historical, or otherwise.
I might recommend a different approach that may give you better information.
Run the Multi-Year Sales History Report and set the hierarchy to be Agency -> Account. Set up the Years to be Next Year and This Year (as an example) and just like that you have an agency list consisting of only those agencies billing within the time frame that you asked for.
I recommend that you also make this a favorite report so that you only have to 1 click run it in the future.
Finally, you can click on the Agency names from this report and it will load the Agency Profile where you can jump off and find additional information. It even loads the agency in a new tab for you automatically so that you can easily jump BACK to the report without having to run it again by simply loading the previous tab in your browser.
Let me know how this workflow works for you if you're willing to give it a try for a couple of weeks. Without knowing your exact need i'm speculating a workflow so it may not be exactly what you need.
Let me know and thanks for the feedback.

For this specific request...have you tried using Salesperson Preview? That allows you to see revenue for the current, last, and next year broken out by a multitude of attributes in order to help you perform reassignments.
In general, we have requests to and plans to implement additional filters to the Account list and others so we'll definitely take this into consideration when prioritizing.
Thanks!

In the List, Accounts results, there is no option to filter out unnecessary history. This has been problematic when re-assigning accounts to AEs since there is not an agency column in that list. When pulling a list of agencies, users cannot determine if accounts are still working with the default agencies or have moved to another.
