The ability for all Account Executives to NOT see one anothers prospects
Since we operate where an account isn't owned until someone sells it, all prospects are open. Since they are open, 1 account executive can take another AE's prospect and sell it and make the account theirs. My AE's are weird about entering their prospects, so this doesn't help our cause on getting them to use it.
The other major kink to this is, one not so good AE enters a ton of prospects and never closes an account and another AE who's a good closer is discouraged on trying to sell that account because the other AE has them in the system already and can see that because the proseptcs are there for everyone to see. Hence, we don't sell them.
If we operated that way, people would just collect prospects. The old AEs there claim things on a board and then they never call on them. And nothing gets sold.
This functionality now exists. Please reach out to your Matrix Success Manager in order to have this turned on for your sales team.
thank you!

We're implementing this idea for Leads which are a step before prospects (your group may not be using them?). If you're interested in trying out Leads please let me know and I'll get your Matrix Success Manager involved.
Leads essentially lets you claim an account and then work on it to get the address, activity scheduled, and a contact known before you can submit it to your manager.
on Dec 12, 2015 we will have the ability to hide those leads from the Master Account List. This functionality will NOT be for prospects, however.
Please let me know if this would interest you.
