star image not intuitive
the star ("save") image is not intuitive as it appears as "grayed out" and needs to be labeled differently or colored so users know this is the save function

We have just finished testing on this feature. A tool-tip will now display when hovering over the star icon in order to show you that the icon represents saving the report as a favorite or that the report has already been saved as a favorite.

It's the same type of icon used in all 3 of today's modern web browsers for bookmarking websites and saving them as favorites. They each use an uncolored star and once saved, it is colored.
I'll have the developers add a tooltip that says "Save as a Favorite" to better explain the icon when you hover over it with the cursor, but the icon itself is not going to change since it's the same implementation as many other applications (web based and client/server) as well as a browser standard.
