Activity reports that can have hierarchy set by outlet by salesperson would be very helpful at both the cluster and corporate level

Activities do not have outlet fields on them so reporting Activity by Outlet would be quite difficult to impossible.
Is it common that a salesperson does an activity for a single outlet and not the account as a whole for every outlet billing/prospecting for?
Curious about any workflow or business reasons as to why they would be helpful for this request. If we can figure those out, maybe we can work on some type of an enhancement/feature to address your needs.
