look at other AE's prospects
Would like to be able to make sure we're not calling on the same businesses...Can there be a way to not allow us to add a prospect business if it's already in the system under another AE's name? As well as a way to pull up a list of master accounts that have billed with us and a list of prospect accounts. There are too many times that we call on businesses that are already advertising with us or already working with another AE.

A Master Account List already exists for this very purpose.

Just because an AE puts an account in the system, it shouldnt necessarily prevent another rep from calling on it, but if we can see the notes, then we would know if there was a long history, or if a rep had just called once, etc. If a rep is actively working a prospect, then other AE's need to know that. Conversely, if a rep has called on a prospect and gotten no where, maybe someone else could. We need to be able to see each others activities.

There is currently a way to pull up a master list of accounts that have billed on the outlets that you have access to as well as show the prospects claimed by other AEs. From the lists menu, select Accounts. Once loaded, toggle to the master list. This should give you what you are looking for.
As for not allowing you to prospect for something another AE has, we wanted to leave the system a bit more open to the many ways our media customers do business. In saying this, we strongly encourage all AEs to use a bit of discretion in the prospects they add and review the master account list to verify if it already exists.
Perhaps in the future we could make this process even easier by enhancing the Master Account List or by creating a whole new feature altogether specificaly for prospecting. I'd be anxious to hear any thoughts you might have around this.
I will contact you personally to review this feature and I may even be inclined to give you a sneak peek at an upcoming enhancement to the Account list :)
