  1. Matrix version of the Morning Edge Report from Wide Orbit

    I love the Morning Edge report from Wide Orbit. I wish Matrix had a similar daily report that showed up in my inbox. It shows upcoming activities scheduled, deals that are due, and where I might want to spend my time.

    We have just finished testing of a new daily email that will provide Salespeople and Managers with information to help jump start their day. We are calling it the Matrix Espresso Shot!

    Each role has different needs and our solution will reflect that as well as offer easy ways to quickly access more details within Matrix.

    Managers will be able to quickly and easily tell where there times needs spent by listing the lowest performing Outlets/Offices/Salespeople to their given budgets, find your top/bottom salesperson in terms of activities, andrecent changes in revenue. Each is a snippet of information to help you focus your time, but if you need the full story, a convenient link is available for you to run the full report any way that you please.

    Our Success Managers are reaching out to your organizations in order to get a list together specific for your team/organization so that this feature will be 100% ready to go the day it launches with your custom Activity Types.

  3. Set a cap or limit on leads and prospects

    Matrix Plus had the ability for us to code prospects as targets and extras, with the ability to also cap those. When could I expect that option to be available in the new Matrix?

    We have created a new alert that can help you to achieve this!

    From your Alerts page, create a new alert from the Leads and Prospects Above Threshold Thresholds alert. Here you can set the number of Leads and Prospects a salesperson is allowed to have.

    We recommend that you use this as part of your regular one on ones and for salespeople to use this in order to stay out of the crosshairs of your managers!

    We will most likely NOT be putting a hard cap on Leads and Prospects after speaking with a number of managers and salespeople. It just opened up a can of worms that could lead to unhappiness and loss of revenue, and we feel managing the experience like this is better for everyone. Hey even the police often let you go over the speed limit by a couple of MPH!

  4. Budget Template does not automatically display recently imported accounts after it has been created

    The budget template does not update with new accounts that are imported after the template is created. I feel those accounts should be automatically added to the template without having to manually add them myself.

    Please note that this is not yet in production for you to use, but this particular request has been addressed and will be available in our next big release this September!

    Templates have been removed and instead replaced with a dynamically driven budgeting system that knows when you add/remove accounts to your account list.

    Many more enhancements are coming around budgets so look out for some updates in the near future!

  5. Show more than 5 Accounts in Birds Eye View

    Scrolling through only 5 accounts at a time in Birds Eye View using the slider is time consuming. Using the slider is difficult on a Tablet and adds an unnecessary step. Can you please have an expand option so we can see all of our accounts at once to give us a quicker overview. (You could even give the option of view 5,10,20, ALL next to slider to expand that section).

    We’ve worked this into our new installment of Matrix that we plan to roll out in 2017. Currently 12 rows are displaying, but this may change as we continue to develop on the new user interface and get feedback.

    Thanks for your input and please keep it coming! We are working on resolving many of the issues with Matrix within our next solution and are building it in a way that allows us to more easily make changes like this!

  6. Filtering by Revenue Type on Pods

    The Bird's Eye View pod doesn't allow for filtering on revenue types so when I see my local business it's including spot and Internet. I'd like to have it separated.

  7. close annual deals a month at a time as orders are entered

    What if you put a expected close window under each months revenue PJ for any annual deal. That way the pending dollars for the remainder of the year are still active but we can close the current month.

    You now have access to a New Deal Experience! Within this, Matrix will automatically close out individual months for you, OR you can still jump in and handle everything manually on a more proactive level. The choice is yours.

    We’ve made it super easy to handle zeroing out months from the new Recently Imported pod. Just hover over the deal’s remaining pending amount and choose to zero out any months that you wish. If you zero them all out, Matrix will close the deal for you.

  8. Sort completed activities by most recent dates on the activities list

    Would like the latest activities completed to be listed first. Currently you show the first activities completed and I must change the sort on the Due Date.

    This has been addressed in Monarch and will be released soon. We think you’ll just notice this in your day to day interactions, but we encourage you to review the release notes each week (we typically put out a few things every Thursday) to make sure you don’t miss any updates!

  9. View Activity Type sub lists in Activity Report

    The Activity report only shows "Meeting" or " Call", but there is not a way to see if it was a CNA Meeting or a Closing Call.

    We have just finished testing this feature.

    This will allow you to determine the exact Activity type being used whether it’s a generic Call or a more specific “Cold Call”. The export will be the most useful location to get this information (deemed more important than the on-screen version by many of you who voted thanks!)

    We are on track to have this released before the end of the year as part of a 100% Customer Feedback release so keep your eyes peeled for communication from us both within Matrix or your Inbox!

  10. Merged cells on Excel downlods - LOSE THEM!

    Hey guys - merged cells are a pain in the butt when manipulating excel files - when you download a report the more basic it is the better - lose the merged cells ( due to the titles on top, ect )

    This is completed, however I need to explain a bit…

    Under the current reporting in Matrix Standard, the reporting engine used is unable to perform this request. However, we changed our engine with Matrix Premium and exports from there now function the way requested here.

    We are examining our current priorities and are are considering changing the existing reports to use this new engine as well in the future, but I do not have enough concrete information to share with you at this time.

  12. searchable master list for AE

    AE's need to be able to do a search to see what accounts are already taken by other AE's with out having to go page to page to find an account. This takes forever... and when your prospecting for new biz... it becomes quite tiresome.

    Development is now complete for searching on the Account (My List and Master), Agency, and Contact lists. the lists will update as you type and will utilize inclusive searching as opposed to searching by words that start with what you type. This should mean the time it takes you to locate a single Account, Agency, or Contact will be cut down to a small fraction of the current time!

  13. More Detailed Pending Report for AE's to submit to managers

    Hi - since we're entering details of all deals into Matrix, it would really helpful to be able to export one list to excel that shows each deal and pending revenue by month and outlet.

    We have completed the work to do this on a new Forecast Report. This report is currently in beta, so if you’d like to check it out just reply back to me!

    The idea is that we are adding Deal into the hierarchy. So you might create a Forecast report by Salesperson – > Outlet – > Deals and choose to roll up the results by Month. Of course you’ll want to play around with it to see what suits your needs best, but look out for this in the near future as we get closer to releasing our new reporting engine to EVERYONE soon!

  14. 15 minute increments on Activities

    I have meetings that require this. can we fix? This includes the ical download to show 15 minutes too

  15. Additional email boxes

    Some contacts have several email addresses and we only have a place to enter one. It would be very helpful if there were an option to add additional emails to one contact.

    We have just released this today. Every deal profile now allows you to clone the deal which will copy values like the Outlets, Office, Category, Account, Contacts and more.

    It will not copy the dollars, estimated close date, activities or note.

    You will be prompted to give the new deal a name and optionally a new time frame.

  18. Add more years to the "yr-Yr Detail" section of the account profile pages

    Currently you can only see the current year and the past year. In 2012 when we are working on 2013, we cannot see revenue details that might already be booked for an account in the FUTURE. That's very difficult to see where there might be dollars missing for a particular account at a glance.

  19. add back in the ability to view account/AE history

    Old Matrix a manager was able to review when a account was created and then track it as it was transferred from one AE to another. This is an important function that would be very helpful to have implemented

    With our next release, you will be able to see the history of account reassignments via the Account Profile Summary Tab…part of a major overhaul to the Account Profile.

    Can’t wait to cut the release and get this out to you all in the coming month!

  20. Ability to attach documents to activities and do document storage on accounts

    Can you attach a document to an acitivity.

    Example a salesperson has a meeting and wants to attachment a recap document to the activity that is archived in the account information. Or can you attach a document to an account?
