Non-Returning Business
Need dialogue box for non-returning business when forecasting...don't want to add a Deal or an Activity--just want to say 'client never paid their bill'

As with many web applications, the browser back button is not typically used as part of the navigation. It’s not easy, sometimes impossible, to track specifically where a user came from and exactly how that page was left.
Matrix functions in much the same way and we have been telling our users to make use of modern browser multi-tabbed navigation functionality.
Simply right click and open each link in a new tab. This actually speeds up load times as you do not need to render the page you would normally come back to each time it is visited. It will also leave your original page (the Birds Eye View) in the same condition you left it in after closing the new tab.

make it possible to include Prefix on the import of contacts
you have a drop down for it in create/edit contact dialog but no field on the import wizard

Contact Information
We would like the contact information to follow the account regardless of who enters the infromation (a manger, an asst, or an AE). Here, the Assistants enter the prospects along with Contacts at that time and the AE needs to have access to it.

When an assistant or manager creates a prospect, they choose which salesperson to assign the prospect to or they may leave the field alone and it will assign the prospect to themselves.
When a manager or assistant creates a contact, they choose the company it is to be affiliated to as well as the salesperson who will be the owner of that contact.
In both cases, the manager/assistant can see this information as well as the salesperson it was assigned to

Training modules need a human voice over.
The content is great but the computerized, awkward delivery of the content wastes a lot of time. It does not create a smooth, positive, or engaging listening/training experience.
1 voteI checked in with our writer and instructional designer to see if this is possible and it turns out that we tried this in the past and found that it took us 3-4x longer to produce the materials than it did with a generated voice after all the editing and multiple takes.
While we’re thrilled that you feel the content is great, we’re sorry that you feel the delivery method isn’t. Unfortunately, it is the only way we can proceed right now in order to stay up to date with our rapid releases.
She did mention to me, however, that they are looking into a voice with a more American accent …though they suspect it would still have the same somewhat awkward inflections in the voice.

This report needs a variance
you are giving data for ly and this year you should also give the difference in $ and % between the years

Thanks for your feedback Leslie. This was a tricky one for us as we got a lot of feedback requesting the ability to see more layers of revenue in the pod by breaking out Outlets and Rev Types. In turn, this gave us less room to work with…especially when monthly sales exceed $100,000 and made the numbers unreadable.
We’ll continue to think about how we can give you the best of both worlds and will implement a solution if we come up with one. In the meantime, you can hover over the number to get the exact amount for each month.

Add categories to the search bar at the top right
It would be helpful if we could pull category information from the top right search box just as we can accounts.

Account Ranking Queries
I think it would be great if we could run a report that will display accounts that meet certain criteria like accounts that are - or + $500 compared to previous year.
2 votesThis can be accomplished today in multiple ways. The Ranking Report is a great solution by sorting on the difference. For example if $500 is your threshold, perform a descending sort on the difference column to get your results.
The Build Your Own Financials report can also do this with even less columns if you truly only care about the TY, LY, and Difference values.

look at other AE's prospects
Would like to be able to make sure we're not calling on the same businesses...Can there be a way to not allow us to add a prospect business if it's already in the system under another AE's name? As well as a way to pull up a list of master accounts that have billed with us and a list of prospect accounts. There are too many times that we call on businesses that are already advertising with us or already working with another AE.

we need a next acton tab that lets you put in a reminder that syncs with outlook. This is very important and needs to be done asap. also whe you enter a new prospect/client how about a primary contact position.

I need to be able to set a default office to be used with future deals
- Under Add a Deal in account info, *Office needs to default to WSET-Lynchburg, currently it defaults to HOUSE

I would like reports to open in the same window.
It is common for me to have multiple windows open because the navigation is not intuitive to go back to the reports page in order to run a new report. Loading this in the same window should minimize this issue.

I spoke with our Director of Client Services and found that we have no plans to change the voice in our training at this point in time. We will, however, keep this thought in mind for any future products we may develop.

DISPLAY BILLING TOTALS MORE DISCRETE
WHEN WORKING IN THE ACCOUNTS WINDOW, THE TOTALS ARE DISPLAYED AT TOP OF PAGE. ALL SALESPEOPLE WORK IN CUBICLES AND HAVE NO PRIVACY. WOULD PREFER TO HAVE THE TOTALS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE OR SOMEWHERE OTHER THAN FRONT AND CENTER.

Change layout of birds eye view to show the entire billing/forecasting account list
It would be nice if the account list that is currently billing or forecasted for could be viewed on the entire page rather than having to scroll through the smaller bar. This would make it easier to print and view. Perhaps it could be listed below the sales outlook and move the pending and proposed where the accout list is currently.
4 votesAs an AE, the Bird’s Eye View currently shows you all accounts that have booked revenue or a forecasted amount.
We have no plans of showing the entire list of accounts on this page. If you need to see your accounts in a list format, please use the Accounts menu option under Lists.
