  1. Allow multiple agencies to be linked to one account

    have the capability to tie more than one agency to an account. Example: I work with the State Health Dept. & all their campaigns are put out for bids. I sometimes am working with 4 different agencies for the same campaign & I cannot link all of them to the one Health Dept account.

    This has been completed as a preference in My Profile. Make sure the Prospect Approval Email is turned on in order to know when your manager has approved your leads.

  3. Add Project list to activities

    I'd like to track our various projects (sponsorships etc) and be able to pull up all the activities (calls) that have been made for each specific project.
    I don't see anyway to do that but it looks as though a "project" field could be added to activities and the AE could associate that activity w/ a particular project that we're selling. Feel free to call me for more info if needed. I think this would be helpful for stations as they come up w/ more multi-level projects and non-traditional revenue generators.

    We have completed this work with a new and improved Projects experience in Monarch. We’re soft launching this right now and would love to get your organization on board with it!

    Either way, we’ll be doing a full roll out in early 2020 so if you want to take an official dive after the holidays that’s fine too.

    This exists already as the “Should Have Booked By Now” alert. It looks into the future and finds accounts that booked by today’s date or earlier and currently do not have dollars booked.

  5. New Fields on the Budget Template

    The current budget template supports: Account, Outlet, Office, Sales Person and Revenue type
    We would like to additional fields like Category and others.

    Category is now a new item that you can place a budget against in the new budget experience.

    If you did not opt to join us for the new experience this 2018 Budget season you will get your chance for the 2019 season.

    Looking forward to providing everyone with an easier budgeting experience from here on out!

    This still exists…but…not in the UI that you use. It’s more of an administrative/virtual sales assistant task where we can clean that data up for you.

    If you know what you’re looking for like “Remove all prospects created before Jan 1, 2016” then we can clean that up for you so that you’re not filtering the lists, locating the accounts and then waiting for Matrix to remove this data. It’s been a much loved feature for us as it saves managers the time from waiting for the deletes to finish up (some managers are deleting thousands of accounts…it’s crazy!) so we’ve just gone that route.

    Hope this makes sense! Please contact your Matrix Success Managers in order to handle a solution like this in the near future.

  7. Adhoc Reporting capabilities

    Add the ability to create customized reports in the system by choosing the metrics and dimensions.
    These parameters would be stored for future use, publication to other users, etc. (all of the existing canned report functionality)

    This work has been completed and is based on the new reporting that is currently rolling out. It’s functional, easy to use, and generally fast…but the best part is that we built it to be extended over time as new functionality and requests are made.

  8. multi level approval of leads

    A customer would like the ability to require multiple lead approvers. These might be sequential or concurrent. One use case is both the LSM and the DSM need to approve leads.

    We have built this functionality into Monarch and have the capability to enable it for customers. It’s not as cut and dry as this so please contact your Success Manager at Matrix if this is something that you are interested in.

    Yes! We actually do this for Agency contacts since an Agency could be working with multiple advertisers.

    While on an account profile, click onto the Contacts tab and then add an agency to the account. This will allow the agency’s contacts to be more easily accessible from the Account Profile.

  11. Need a calendar print option for daily activities

    Daily, I need a print out of all of the activities in calendar. All of my calls are set up with no specific time, so will have a list of about 10-20 calls (calendar will show five of them with a note of view five more and displays them in a tiny box). Then I have my activities (visits) by time. Currently, there is not a clear option to be able to print only a selected area-with enough room to make notes as I go. Appreciate your consideration on this!!!!

    We offer a data card on the home page that details all of today’s activities. If you view the card as a full page, you have export capabilities. It’s designed to show you everything scheduled for today.

    Alternatively…

    We have just updated our Activity Report and along with it comes a new ability to schedule the report to be emailed to you as frequently as you like.

    Check out one of these methods and see if that helps to make your day a bit better!

    We have achieved this with a new role that allows you to share things like contacts!

    Please let us know your specific scenarios and we’ll work with you in order to configure Matrix to better suit your needs.

  14. Attachments not showing when opening an Activity from the Activity Calendar

    When clicking on a completed EMAIL Activity on the Activity Calendar, it only shows the Activity itself, and does not include the actual email body that it is associated with.

    It would very, very helpful if there was a button or a link that when selected, would show this.

    My Manager would not know that there is anything attached. I contacted Support, and they pointed my Manager to the AE Scorecard in order to see this information. Again, needing to go to multiple places vs. having it all in one place.

    The Activity Profile now shows you the email content as well as any attachments from the email that created the activity.

    Note that if you manually create an email activity (not sent from Outlook for example) your experience will be different as their is no body of the email since an actual email is not present.

    This functionality actually does exist within the Budget Forecast Analysis Report which you can access within Sales Intelligence and clicking on the Forecasting & Deals tab. A support rep will follow up with you to help you with any questions that you might have.

    A mobile site has existed for a few years now. It uses the same URL that your desktop version uses and is very Salesperson focused allowing you to manage your book of business from the road with Activities, Deals, and Contact information including some pretty awesome mapping capabilities and route planners for travel. We encourage you to create a shortcut to your mobile desktop and even offer up instructions to do so when you first log in.

    Simply because it is not an application found in the App Store or Google Play Store does not mean it is not a mobile application…in fact many apps used today on those stores (that aren’t games obviously) are simply rebadged mobile websites. It’s pretty cool what can be accomplished with HTML/CSS/Javascript and its variations of libraries!

    This isn’t to say that we will NEVER build an app, and we’d love…

    Our new reporting engine and favorites allows you to choose a custom date range that will not roll when the months change.

    This should allow you to create a report for a specific month, quarter, or year and not have it change to another time frame when the report is run from favorite again.

  18. Compare Pace to a year other than Last Year

    It would be nice to be able to compare to other years without that extra step. It would be helpful for years like this where we have both big political and the Olympics. Currently, I need to perform the following steps;

    • Run the Pacing report as defaulted, and export to Excel, and then Save.
    • Change the "Time Frame" from May/2016 to June/2013 - wait until report displays, and then move back to May 2013 - this is due to a limitation of the reports when moving across multiple months.
    • Change the "Pacing As Of" date to 5/3/2012.

    We have added the ability to pick the Pacing Comparison Year from Last Year, 2 Years Ago, 3 Years Ago, or 4 Years Ago.

    This will be available in our new reporting framework this summer!

    Account and Agency have been added to the Sales Outlook for salespeople.

    Managers should run a report (Forecast Report is a great start) in order to get similar information as the reports are built to handle the larger amounts of data where the Sales Outlook is optimized for quicker navigation experiences with smaller amounts of information.

    This functionality exists today, but your group currently isn’t subscribed to the portion of Matrix that offers it.

    This is part of our List Builder functionality within Matrix Premium where you can build lists of Contacts and Accounts with a TON of useful information and then perform actions on it like plan mapped routes or create mass activities.

    I’ll pass along your interest in this functionality to your success manager, and hopefully your corporate group will upgrade to take advantage of it soon!
