    We have just finished testing this feature and I’m happy to say it will be a part of our January release! Finally you will be able to delete a deal that you accidentally created instead of re-purposing them. Please note that a deleted deal’s dollars will still display on the forecast change report since that rerport takes snapshots of forecasts each day.

    Great news! This has just been released last weekend! Check out the option on a Sales Outlook Pod near you and keep the feedback coming!

    Checking this option will update the Pending and Forecast columns to use weighted values as well as the bar chart to refresh with weighted amounts.

    If you aren’t using weighted amounts it will display the exact same information as it does unchecked.

  3. have a place to save station's share of the buy and order.

    Corporate and local management requires share on buys, especially with agency orders. A place to insert share of buys would be helpful. For example, when McDonalds bought the market, we received 33% of the buy. An AE brings in new business and we're the only station they bought, so we received 100% of the buy.

    We’ve completed work on some custom forms on Deals. This is an ideal location for creating a couple of fields that represent share. We can do some basic calculations with the data on the deal as well so if this sounds interesting please reach out to your success manager so that we can discuss some options that might be right for you!

  4. Add filters to Biggest Pending Deals (Birds Eye View, Manager level)

    It would be great to be able to filter Biggest Pending Deals (or all deal pods actually) by Outlet and AE. I have LSM's who are primarily responsible for specific outlets or specific AE's and would like to see it that way. They may need to view others though, so I can't restrict their permissions.

    This functionality already exists within Matrix. Please click on the edit pencil icon within the Biggest Pending Deals pod and you can then show those deals for specific Salespeople or Outlets.

  5. Allow users to set the agency and office from the Quick Deal window.

    For NSMs who have accounts from multiple National offices, it would greatly simplify updating pending if they could change the office from the from the Quick Deal window, rather than being forced to navigate to the full deal details page.

  6. Expand the number of characters on the deal name field when entering a quick deal

    If I have an account that has a long name, and I try to enter a quick deal. , now I have to edit the deal name before I can enter dollars. It then becomes not a quick deal.

  7. Eliminate the need to add dollar distributions when tying a deal to a project

    When tying a project to a deal, the AE is forced to provide monthly dollar-distributions even after a deal has been fully filled out (including these dollar distributions).

    Is it possible to import the amounts to the project that have already added by the AE in the deal pod?

    We have completed this work with a new and improved Projects experience in Monarch. Deals and Projects are a separate experience, but together they contribute to the overall Forecast. We have streamlined the creation, management, and reporting process of Projects in a way that saves a LOT of time.

    We’re soft launching this right now and would love to get your organization on board with it!
    Either way, we’ll be doing a full roll out in early 2020 so if you want to take an official dive after the holidays that’s fine too.

  8. All date boxes should let me type in the date as well as select from a calendar control by clicking

    Having the ability to type in the date of the flight rather than using the calendar.

    We have just completed testing for this feature. You can expect to be able to type in your dates to any datebox field in the next release.

  9. Build a function to automatically track any forecasting preempted dollars

    When a buy is placed and the "deal" is closed, dollars are added to TY total and removed from deal. However, if there are preemptions on the buy, those dollars are removed from TY total. They will not be included in forecast unless the AE adds a separate, new "Deal" for every preempt. This is unacceptable use of AE time. We need a function that automatically retains preempted dollars in pending until they are booked.

    We are wrapping this up with real user testing right now as part of an integration with Wide Orbit. If you use Wide Orbit then there will be potential to utilize this feature.

    The basic idea of this is Wide Orbit will send over preemptions and Matrix will provide a way for you to see those preemptions without the need to go to your traffic manager, review a traffic log, or do anything outside of Matrix. You can then decide if you need to contact your advertiser, put in a new deal to make good on the preemptions, or do nothing at all. The choice is yours, we simply want to make it easier for you to know about the preemptions that have occurred.

    With this update we’ve also added Preemptions to a few locations

  10. close annual deals a month at a time as orders are entered

    What if you put a expected close window under each months revenue PJ for any annual deal. That way the pending dollars for the remainder of the year are still active but we can close the current month.

    You now have access to a New Deal Experience! Within this, Matrix will automatically close out individual months for you, OR you can still jump in and handle everything manually on a more proactive level. The choice is yours.

    We’ve made it super easy to handle zeroing out months from the new Recently Imported pod. Just hover over the deal’s remaining pending amount and choose to zero out any months that you wish. If you zero them all out, Matrix will close the deal for you.

  11. Allow for negative pending

    Two reasons:
    1. On the print side, the actual billing comes in as "open rate" which is not what they typically plan to get, so the rep would like to add in negative pending to show a "true" forecast number.
    2. At times, there are cancellations or pre-empts, but it hasn't come through traffic yet. So that the rep can show an accurate forecast, they would have to enter in negative pending.

    We have added the ability to create a deal with purely negative pending in a new version of Matrix and will be rolling out these changes in 2017 to our users.

  12. Agency details for AE's and managers

    When viewing an agency profile there is no detail section showing the associated advertisers. However, when viewing an Advertiser, this "Detail' section exists.

    We have finished testing on this feature.

    The Agency Profile will sport a new Revenue pod which allows you to see the breakout of revenue by Advertiser. If you need an example, take a look at the Revenue pod on the Account Profile and where the dropdown has “Agency” just mentally take that out and replace it with “Account” and envision it on the Agency Profile page.

    We can’t wait to get this out to you all over the holidays so keep your eyes open for the update notification within Matrix and be sure to check out our other awesome updates on the release notes!

  13. Allow modifications after a deal has be selected as "won"

    I just attempted to revised the monthly billing and the account is locked. I want to forecast as accurately as possible.

    We are enhancing the whole deal experience at the moment and this is part of that enhancement. We have removed actual dates but are keeping the months/years around. This will work out better for anyone who uses non gregorian calendars and alleviate confusion as to which calendar you are working with.

    You can expect to see this as well as other Deal Enhancements in our next release currently scheduled for later this month!
